Georgia Tech Carnegie Building

This Award-Winning renovation brought the building up to current handicap and energy codes and preserved the historical grandeur & integrity of the building. The major exterior work included the installing of energy-efficient and historically accurate doors and windows, tuck-pointing the entire brick structure, abating asbestos-containing roof materials and replacing the roof, parapet cap cleaning, and side entrance canopy replacement.  The interior work included demolition and asbestos abatement, structural shoring, elevator shaft & pit construction, elevator installation, and motorized window shades.
